Everyone wants to get better outcomes for their students and the marketplace will have you believing that if you just purchase the right programs you will reach those goals. But we all know that implementation matters. How do you make the right decisions about what effective, evidence-based practices you should roll out that will have the greatest impact in your context? Using improved literacy practices as an example, this session will help you understand the implementation factors that can make or break your initiative.

Learning Objectives:

1. Gain knowledge about the Active Implementation formula and how each of the factors affects the goal of any initiative

2. Reflect on past initiatives that did not get the intended outcomes and what changes may be needed to ensure current and future initiatives do get the intended results.
